BAND SPRING CONCERT

Spring Concert is mandatory for all Band students.

Band Spring Concert

Thursday May 8, 2014 Lindley Auditorium - 6:00pm

Please join us on 5/8/14 at 6:30 for the Band's last performance of the 2013-2014 school year! The concert will feature performances from the 7th and 8th Grade Bands, as well as Jazz and Percussion Ensembles. We will also have special performances by the Pebblebrook High School Mighty Marching Machine and Jazz Orchestra!

Concert Attire

REMINDERS

All students should wear black dress pants, solid black dress shoes, solid black socks, solid black belt, and a white long-sleeve button-up with no logos.

GIRLS:

Black flats are permitted
Shoes must be closed-toe
Minimal jewelry (studs are okay)
Long-sleeve or 3/4 plain white shirt (NO short-sleeve shirts)

BOYS:

Undershirts must be plain white
Socks need to be solid black and calf-length (no logos)
Black leather dress shoes (NO sneakers)
Shirts tucked in with solid black leather belt

Mad Mad Whirled Trip

May 5, 2014 - 2854 Delk Rd, Marietta, GA 30067

On May 5, all Fine Arts students that participated in Large Group Performance Evaluation (Festival) will have the opportunity to spend the day at Mad Mad Whirled! For a cost of $30, students will receive unlimited laser tag, unlimited whirlyball, unlimited drinks, two slices of pizza for lunch, transportation, and rental of the facility. Payment is due by the end of the day on 3/28. NO LATE PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED! Don't miss out on this fun-filled day!!

Large Group Performance Evaluation (Festival)

Congratulations!

On March 13, the Lindley 8th Grade Band performed at McEachern High School for Large Group Performance Evaluation and received an overall Excellent Rating, with a Superior in Sight-Reading!

March 25, the Lindley Middle School 7th Grade Band performed at Kell High School for LGPE. The 7th Grade Band received all Excellent Ratings on stage, and a Superior in Sight-Reading!

Way to go Lindley Bands!
